After a courageous battle with kidney cancer, Linda Barcelona (née Pavlak) of Palos Heights, IL passed away peacefully on March 20, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her brother Lawrence and mother Dorothy Pavlak and adored by her father Henry H. Pavlak Jr. and siblings Susan Witzig and James Pavlak, Linda was deeply loved by Thomas J. Barcelona, her husband of nearly 49 years and their three children Thomas J. Barcelona Jr. (Melissa), Julianne Majchrzak (Jeffrey), and Catherine Horvatic (Michael). "Grandma Linda" made every day fun for her grandchildren, including Tommy, Lauren, Zach and Sam Barcelona, Mason and Charlie Majchrzak and George and Hailey Horvatic. Visitation is Friday, March 24th from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Curley Funeral Home, located at 6116 W. 111th Street in Chicago Ridge, IL. Linda's Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be Saturday, March 25th, 9:00am from Curley Funeral Home to St. Alexander Catholic Church, 7025 W. 126th St. in Palos Heights, IL, Mass at 10:00am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
