MRS. SIDNEY ABBEY
Mt. Morris — Mrs. Harriet Abbey, 73, wife of Sidney Abbey, died Thursday (Feb. 12, 1948) in her home in the Mt. Morris-Geneseo Rd.
She was born in Tyrone, Pa., and had been a resident of this community most of her life.
Besides her husband she leaves three sons, Henry and Charles of Mt. Morris and Lester of Dansville; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hansen and Miss Dorothy Abbey of Rochester, Miss Clarissa Abbey of Mt. Morris, Mrs. Harriet Downey of Newark; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p. m. in the Ivan R. Wood Funeral Home in Chapel St. Burial will be in Mt. Morris Cemetery.
