Cassandra Kay Linder, 16, died Monday March 13, 2023 in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on September 29, 2006 in Lakin, Kansas; the daughter of Todd Linder and Elizabeth Soltero.

Cassandra was a lifetime resident of the Garden City area and was very involved in school and community activities. She was intelligent; a vibrant young woman with a contagious joyful personality. She enjoyed many things including reading, listening to music (especially Taylor Swift), spending time with family and friends, and rewatching her favorite show Grey's Anatomy.

Cassandra was a member of the Holcomb High School Dance Team, STUCO, HALO, was Manager of the Basketball and Track team, and was currently working at the local Gymnastics Center as a coach.

Cassandra is survived by her Parents- Todd (Rosa) Linder, Elizabeth (Jose) Soltero, Siblings- Megan Thrall, Amy Ruiz, Erik Balderrama, Brina Armenta, Maylin Soltero, and Alex Soltero. In addition to her beloved Grandparents, Cousins, Aunts, and Uncles.

She is preceded in death by her brother Hiram Soltero.

Visitation will be held Sunday March 19, 2023 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. A Rosary Service will take place at 7:00pm Sunday March 19, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Funeral Mass at 2:00pm Monday 20, 2023 also at St. Mary Catholic Church of Garden City, Kansas. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Cassandra Linder Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
