NANY E. CHITWOOD
Mrs Nancy E. Chitwood, 92, Grady county resident for
65 years, died here Monday following an illness of
three weeks.
Born in Russell county, Ky., Mrs Chitwood moved to
Indian Territory with her husband Dawes Chitwood, in
1889. Since then they have lived in Norman, Tuttle,
and, in recent years, Minco. Her husband died in
1934.
She is survived by two sons, Virgil and Edgar Chitwood,
both of Minco, and Tom Roysden, Jamestown, Texas.
Other survivors include six daughters, Mrs Odessa
Dovalosky, 1416 1/2 NW 46; Mrs Nell Henderson, 1325
N Blackwelder; Mrs Gertrude Harley and Mrs Myrtle Lewis,
both of Chickasha, Mrs Ada McKay, Roseburg, Ore., and
Miss Sally Kathryn Chitwood, of Coos Bay, Ore.
Services are pending at the Reynolds-Quayle funeral home
in Minco.
