WINLOCK -
A resident of Winlock since 1948, Clarence E. Hyland 65, died Wednesday at a LaCenter nursing home. He was born July 24, 1900, at Hayfield, Minnesota.
He was a maintenance millworker by trade, and belonged to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Winlock.
Survivors include his widow, Ruby, at home; a daughter Carolyn Hyland, and a son, Clayton Hyland,both at home; five sisters, Mrs Henry Mann and Mrs. Dick Suter, both of Winlock; Mrs. Walter Suter, Parkland; Mrs. Clarence Suter, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, and Mrs. John Puetz, Skokie, Ill., and two brothers, Joe Hyland, Seattle, and Otto Hyland, Spokane.
Funeral services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ronald Opjorden officiating. Interment will follow at the Winlock cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Cattermole Mortuary.
