Joseph Engval Hyland
Joseph Engval Hyland died Sunday, Nov. 12, in a Centralia nursing home at the age of 82.
He was born March 11, 1907, at McIntosh, Minn., and had been a resident of Winlock for the past eight years, coming from Seattle. Hyland moved from Minnesota to Washington in the early 1940's. He was a retired machinist from Boeing Co. Hyland was a member of Sons of Norway of Seattle and of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Winlock.
Surviving are a daughter, Charlotte Svetlic of Arkansas; a brother Otto Hyland of Colville; four sisters, Bertha Mann of Winlock, Ida Suter of Parkland, Mabel Suter and Selma Puetz of Detroit Lakes, Minn.; and two grandchildren.
Remembrances may be donations to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Winlock. Arrangements are under the direction of Cattermole Funeral Home of Winlock.
