She was born Dec. 5, 1908, in Des Moines, Iowa, a daughter of Thomas V. and Bertha (Gnade) Myers.
Dec. 18, 1924, she married Cornelius Erickson, who died March 6, 1971. Then on July 14, 1974, she married Walter Rayls, who died March 5, 1983.
Rayls was a member of Spruce Park Lutheran Church near Bigfork, Minn.
Surviving are a son, Raymond Erickson of Atlantic, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Lorraine) Johnson of Minneapolis, Mrs. Gail (Kathleen) Henry of Walton and Mrs. Michael (Bertha) Bjork of Harris, Minn.; a stepson, Frank Rayls of Greentown; two stepdaughters, Nancy Kenworthy of Terre Haute and Caroline Kasmark of Michigan; a brother, Valdmire "Bud" Myers of Kellogg, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Herbert (Kathleen) Soltau of Le Roy, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; and 21 stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Ellers Mortuary in Kokoma where services will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. The Rev. Ora Myers will officiate.
The body will be taken to Minnesota for services at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bigfork Presybterian Church. The Rev. Gary Elg will officiate. Burial will be in Bigfork Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in the church.
