Clifford Asby, was the Grandfather I never knew. He died in 1956, eight years before I was born. He was married to my Grandmother Jewell S. Asby (deceased), in Oklahoma 1921, he was 19 and she was 17, they had three sons, my two uncles Clifford (deceased), Basil and my father Billy (deceased). They eventully divorced during the Great Depression. At the time of his death, he was working as a cab driver in Kansas City, Missouri. Since I never knew him, I was told he was a kind man, but he was suffered from depression. But the picture's I have seen, he had the most beautiful blue eyes. He is buried alone at Johnson County Cemetary.
