age 42 of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Sunday April 14, 2002 at the Portage Community Hospital, in Portage, IN. He was an area resident since 1989, formerly of Gary. He was a Diesel Technician for the Flying J Truckstop and was a former Assistant Director of the South Haven Civil Defense. he was born in East Chicago, Indiana to Donald Ohmann and Lanora Johnson, who both survive of Gary, Indiana. He was married on August 27, 1989 in Portage, Indiana, to Selina " Diane" (Jowers), who survives of Valparaiso, Indiana. He is also, survived by his 2 daughters, Peggy Ohmann of Valparaiso, IN. and April Jowers Ohmann of Valparaiso, IN; 1 brother, Scott (Tabetha) of Valparaiso, IN; 1 sister, Vicky Ohmann of Hebron, IN; Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel with Interment in the Heritage Cemetery, Portage, IN. The visitation will be held on Tuesday April 16, 2002 from 2-8 p.m. at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Avenue, Portage, IN 46368. Memorials may be made to the family.
