Mishawaka - Helen Sue Sharp, 88, peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Helen was born on October 4, 1932, in Lutts, Tennessee to William R. and Virgie (Bevis) Southern. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years Ray T. Sharp in 2004, daughter, Betty Sue in 1999 and her brother James Southern in 2014.

She is survived by her son Ray Sharp Jr. of LaGrange, IN and her brother, John (Verna) Southern Sr., and nephews John (Cathy) Southern Jr., and William Timothy (Jackie) Southern and two great nephews and three great nieces.

Helen retired after 38 years working for F W Means - Aramark Uniforms.

She was a witty, strong, practical women who was a great friend to all. Per Helen's request a private funeral will be held on Thursday, July 8th with internment in Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pet Refuge, 4626 S. Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN 46614.

Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, is handling the arrangements.
