Nancy Rose Floyd, 86, of Mishawaka passed away in her home on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Nancy was born in Sullivan, IN on September 20, 1936, to the late Paul & Bertha (Payne) Bennett. On October 11, 1953, she married Willie L. Floyd Sr. who preceded her in death on December 27, 2009. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Clark and brothers, Frank Bennett and Tommy Bennett. She is survived by her children, Deborah (David) Ryll, Pamela Grafton, Willie Jr. (Verna Renee) Floyd, and Michelle Montague; grandchildren, Yvone Humes, Yvette Hoober, Denys Boyer, Stephanie Garber, Jessica Lichtenberger, Dustin Floyd, Cory Stith, Nick Stith and Drew Montague; and 19 great grandchildren.
Nancy was a school bus driver for Elkhart Community Schools for 40 years until her retirement and attended the church of God of Prophecy in Mishawaka.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 3rd from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday January 4rh in the funeral home with Pastor Elwood Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN.
