Catherine E. Anderson, 97, formerly of Charlestown Township died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Woodlands at Robinson.
She was born September 21, 1914 in Mt. Jewett, PA to the late Elmer A. and Lillian A. (West) Wamsley.
Catherine was a member of the Charlestown United Methodist Church and was a self employed beautician.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years Carl F. Anderson, sons Terry (Linda) Crouse of Ravenna, Matthew (Caroline) Anderson of PA and James E. (Katsuko) Anderson of AL, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a sister Ruth E. Hall of PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Mabel Swanson, Florence Swanson and Laura Erickson.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, October 24, 2011 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with friends received one hour prior to the service. Reverend Brian Oglesbee will officiate.
Private burial will take place on
Tuesday, October 25, 2011 in Bridgeview Cemetery in Mt. Jewett, PA.
