Succumbs at Le Roy
Le Roy - Mrs. T. V. Myers, 71, resident of this area the past 12 years, died Monday at her home one-half mile south of Le Roy.
The former Bertha Gnade was born Oct. 10, 1886, in Germany. She came to this country with her parents and settled in Iowa. On Sept. 6, 1906, she married to T. V. Myers at Iowa Falls, Iowa. They moved to Le Roy area 12 years ago.
Survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Connie Erickson of Big Fork, MN. and Mrs. Herbert Soltau of Le Roy; one son Valdie of Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Zetta Ballard of Omaha, Nebraska and Mrs. Mollie Myers of State Center, Iowa; two brothers, Carl Gnade of Waterloo, Iowa and Herman Gnade of Des Moines, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church here with The Rev. Wesley Swedberg officiating. Burial will be in the Le Roy Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ray Menees, Ed Wolthoff, Donald Soltau, Lyle Soltau, Ed Nauman and Clarence Hamilton. The Martz Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
