'Gary James Crawford, 35, of Route 1, Box 70-2 Blossom, TX, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 1994, in a vehicle accident near Hugo, OK. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday in Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glyn Vickers officiating. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Crawford was born Mar. 30, 1959 in Fort Worth, a son of James H. and Hettie Mae Smith Crawford. He attended Blossom schools and graduated from Prairiland High School. He also graduated from DeVry Institute having studied electronics. He married Janie Calvert in Stone Mountain, GA, on July 8, 1989. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stone Mountain, and the Paris Elks Club. He was associated with the family business, Crawford Welding Supply, Inc., of Paris as a route truck salesman. Surviving are his wife, Janis [sic] of Blossom; a son, Justin James (J.J.) Crawford of Unity; a step-son, Derek Crawford of Unity; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Crawford of Blossom; a brother, Tracy Crawford of Blossom; a sister, Regina Malone of Route 1, Pattonville; his grandmother, Ruby Crawford of Paris; two sisters-in-law, Paige Crawford of Blossom and Kim Calvert of Washington, PA; a brother-in-law, Jerry Malone of Route 1, Pattonville; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Dale Calvert of Washington, PA; a niece, Jessica Malone of Pattonville; a nephew, Ty Crawford of Blossom; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be David Hanson, David Doyal, Rick Farnsworth, Jack Rater, Terry Stiz, Houston Michael and Rick Maxwell.'
