Steve was born in Jackson, TN at the Webb-Williamson Hospital.
He worked for Delta Airlines, from the age of 18 until he retired from Delta Airlines, as a mechanic. After his retirement from Delta, he started his own business of rental properties, which he was still Owner/Manager of Gray Pelican, LLC, Fort Walton, Beach, Fl until his death.
Steve loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting (small and large game), deep sea fishing, snowboarding, skiing, and water sking. Pretty much anything to do with the out doors.
He is survived by his Father and mother, Gene and Nancy Blurton, daughter Jennifer (Franklin) Dunn, and 1 grandson.
He was predeceased by his birth mother Peggy Ann Rawls Blurton and sister Dianna Lynn Blurton Bell.
