Notes: From an unnamed and undated obituary: 'Mrs. Adrain Huddle, 1214 Azalea, Pasadena, TX died Thursday, March 3, at the Humana Hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, in Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hopewell Cemetery. Hubert Roach, Church of Christ minister, will officiate. Velma B. Huddle was born in Paris, a daughter of James N. Brandon and Maude Gibbs Brandon. She was reared in Paris and attended Paris schools. She moved to Lubbock in 1953 and to Clarksville in 1967. She had lived in Pasadena since 1971. She married Mr. Huddle in 1925 in OK. She was a member of the Watters Road Church of Christ in Pasadena. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Doyle (Judy) McElroy of Pasadena; one sister, Mrs. Bonnibel Nash of Temple; one brother, Roy Brandon of Rockwall; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jack N. Huddle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Bearers were Lloyd Wisely, Quincy Hazelwood, Clyde Darnell, Jim Darnell, Harold Ford and Billy Huddle.'
