Mrs. Mary Bednarczyk, 35 Jackson Street, Passaic, died yesterday in her home after an illness of nine months. Born in Poland, she came to this country 65 years ago and resided in Passaic for 60 years. Mrs. Bednarczyk was a member of St. Casimir's Sick Benefit Society, Polish National Alliance, Third Order of St. Frances and Queen Hedwig's Society. She attended St. Joseph's R. C. Church, Passaic. Surviving are a son, Joseph Iskra, of Philadelphia; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Rose) Sippie, of Passaic; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was buried on 10 May 1948 in S. Hackensack, NJ. Mary is buried at St. Michael's Cemetery. The Rowinski Funeral Home in Passaic was in charge of arrangements.
---
Mary is buried in St. Michael's Cemetery and has a tombstone. She is in section D-row 12 plot 46...however, it is actually row 13 since there is a row of newer tombstones and from the right to the left around plot 25 from the center 'v' burial section. The stone is small with just "Mary Bednarczyk 1872-1948".
Tombstone birth is incorrect.
