Edna Margaret May Adams, 90, of Taylor Street, died at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in her residence following an illness.

She was born July 5, 1903, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and had lived in South Bend, since 1992 having moved from Riverdale, Ill.

On June 7, 1931 in Montreal, as Edna Margaret May, she married Donald H. Adams who preceded her in death April 9, 1982.

Survivors include two sons, ** Adams, of South Bend, Ind. and ** Adams, of Orange County, Calif.; two grandchildren, ** Adams, of South Bend, Ind., and ** Sweeney, of Glenview, III.; one great-granddaughter, ** Sweeney, of Glenview; and one brother-in-law, ** Haynes, of Montreal. A sister, Ida Haynes and a brother, Hilliard May preceded her in death.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place at Michiana Crematory with burial in Palos Heights, Ill. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross of which Mrs. Adams had been a volunteer for over 30 years.
