Doris Jean Vice, 84, of Rossville passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at a local hospital.

She had lived most of her life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area and enjoyed her time at her and her husband's second home in Suwannee, FL.

Mrs. Vice was of the Baptist faith where she attended church in Rossville. She loved her family dearly and she cherished the time she spent with her husband as they were married for 59 years. They loved to fish together, and she was known for her sewing. Throughout the years she made clothes for her children, grandchildren, and even made clothes for the baby dolls. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Vice; granddaughter, Stephanie Vice; and brothers, Billy, Terry, Wayne, Donny, and Tommy Carden.

Survivors include her three children, Rex (Pam) Vice, Mike (Scarlette) Vice, and Kenny (Vanessa) Vice; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Vice Cemetery in Trenton, GA with Reverend Garland Hullender officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
