Fred D. Blackburn, 43, died June 27, 1959. Mr. Blackburn was born in Dillon County, a son of Mrs. Betty O'Quinn Blackburn and the late Ollie Blackburn. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Loris and was employed as a salesman for Prince Chevrolet Co., Inc., for the late 23 years. He held membership in the Chevrolet 100 Car Club for the late 19 years, the outstanding award for Chevrolet salesman. He was a also a member of the Loris Lions Club. Surviving are the widow, the former Miss Virgie Suggs; his mother Mrs. Betty Blackburn, Loris; two sons, Billy Blackburn and Freddie Blackburn, both of Loris; a daughter Patsy Blackburn, Loris; a brother Lafon Gore, Rt. 2 Loris; two sisters, Miss Eloise Blackburn, Loris and Mrs. D. W. Frink Hopewell VA
