BONDS OF HOLY MATRIMONY

WHAT GOD HAS JOINED TOGETHER

LET NO MAN PUT ASUNDER

On August 22, 1888 was the loving union of William Cyltor Johnson and Annie Praxedes McCreevy in St. Louis, Missouri. Through this union they brought into this world 9 children with one being adopted. William's occupation was real estate which provided well for the family.

He was a Woodmen Of The World member. The organization provided the WOW marker. A fraternal organization founded in 1890 in Omaha, Nebraska. There is a Ritual Of The Woodmen book to follow protocol for funerals. The Woodmen are highly protective over their Sovereign and the unveiling of monuments. The symbol engraved on the gravestone includes the Latin Woodmen phrase "Dum Tacet Clamat" which means "Though Silent He Speaks".

NOTE: Bio in process ... Kindly do not use any of my ongoing research to create memorials. Any information you have to share in this research will be greatly appreciated. In my family archives are the names of William and Annie's children, b.d and b.p. and d.d and spouses and m.d. along with christenings/baptisms. It will take some time to sort through and make the entries. There were three preparers of different genealogy documents for this family where there are some erroneous entries. I am one of the few, if the only one who knows about this. There are copies of these documents out there. My dad (Herb) was just getting starting on the corrections.
