The frail body of Mrs. Mac Blanton at 5 a.m past Saturday morning and relieved her intense suffering. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was loyal to her church, a devoted wife and mother. She had been afflicted several years ago with rheumatis, spending some time in hospitals some of the time at home going about on her crutches or in a rolling chair. It was stated by some of her friends that she had canned some 500 quarts of food products this past summer as she went about in her chair. To know her was to love her. She leaves a husband and three sons and two daughters beside countless friends and a host of relatives, Lula Mae as we all called her, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Davis. The body was carried to New Hope Church and lay in State an hour before the funeral. Burial in the adjoining cemetery with the two ministers officiating. Brother Acie Plylar and Sherlie F. Hester. A large crownd was present.
