Rose M. Carvell age 96 of North Port Florida formerly of Houston, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 26, 2022, in Florida. She was born March 30, 1926, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late David and Mary Stacko Taylor. Rose lived most of her life in the Midland area of Houston and was a dedicated homemaker. She taught piano and organ lessons from her home on Main Street and was a very devoted Christian who always had a kind word for everyone. Rose had been a faithful member of the Central Assembly of God Church in Houston for many years and was well versed in scripture, reading her bible daily. Her favorite greeting was "Do you know Jesus?". Left behind to cherish her memory are her two beloved sons, Frank J. Carvell and Jesse Carvell, her lifelong friend Dorothy Moore, 6 grandchildren, one step grandchild, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband, Frank Carvell, her sister Kathryn D'Amico and her brother James Taylor. Rose was the last of her immediate family

Friends and family are welcome from 10 am until noon Monday December 5, 2022, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P.
