Nancy Ann Monks passed away surrounded by family at her granddaughter's home home in Cumby, Texas on November 2, 2022. She was born on August 8, 1951 in Lynchburg, Virginia to parents Samuel LeRoy Nuckols and Donna (Miller) Nuckols.
Nancy married James Robert Monks Jr. in Manassas, Virginia in December 27, 1967. Together they had 3 children.
She is survived by her two sons, James Robert Monks III and Tommy Monks, grandchildren, James Robert Monks IV, Brittany Monks, Ashley Bell and Preston Alaniz. Great grandchildren, Paislee Alaniz, Natalie Monks, Hayleigh Allen and Delilah Monks. Nancy is also survived by her siblings, Roy Nuckols, Connie Hawes, David Nuckols, Mark Nuckols, Roger Nuckols, Wanda Breeze and Robert Nuckols.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Donna Nuckols, daughter, Rhonda Alaniz and siblings, Donna Beamer and Ernest Nuckols.
A Visitation will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 3:00pm the same day with a burial following the service at Van Winkle Cemetery in Princeton, Texas
