Waymoth M. Overby, Jr., "Tiny," 58, of Cranbrook Street, Greensboro, N.C., died at his residence on Sunday, February 6, 2000. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 9, at 11 a.m. at the Clifton Road Baptist Church with Pastor Adrian Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. Born September 2, 1941 in Mt. Airy, Waymoth was a graduate of North Carolina State University and attended a technical institute in Connecticut. He was employed by Custom Tool Manufacturing where he was a Master Mold Builder and Designer. He attended Clifton Road Baptist Church and was a member of the AGAPE Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #1884. Mr. Overby is survived by his wife, Carolyn Reed Overby of the home; three sons, Waymoth David Overby of Stuart, Va., John Paul Overby of Princeton, W.Va., and George Daniel Overby of Critz, Va.; two stepchildren, Melissa Lane Griffith of Browns Summitt and Aaron Keith May of Greensboro; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel. Memorials may be made to: Hospice of Greensboro, 2500 Summitt Ave., Greensboro, N.C.
