Ginny,loved Butterflies.

Ginny, was born in Waynesboro, Ms. to Etta West. She was my half sister. She was adopted at birth by William LeRoy Arledge and Lela Sue Mohon Arledge in Laurel,Ms.they moved to TX.,when she was 5,years old.I was 11,when Ginny, was born.My grandmother, had told us about her but at the time we did not know if the baby was a boy or a girl and we did not know who adopted her.Our mother died in 1965, so after I was grown I talked to several of the older people in Waynesboro, who knew our mother to see if they knew anything about Ginny, with no luck, so I knew I had done all I could. In 1997,a miracle happened,I got a phone call from TX. a woman asked me if my mother, was Etta West, and I said yes, then she told me she was my sister. Her adopted father had told her who her birth mother was and she had already passed away.Ginny had called the funeral home in Waynesboro, and they told her where our mother was buried, and to talk to the lady who was over the cemetery. Our brother, was living in Waynesboro,at that time and she gave Ginny, his phone number, and he gave her mine.We had all talked to her on the phone alot then in the summer of 2006,she made a trip to Mississippi, and spent two weeks with us.We carried her to Waynesboro, and went to the cemetery to visit our mother, our grandparents, other cemeteries where their was great-grandparents and great-greats.and to the old hospital where she was born.We made her copies of pictures of our mother and grandparents and of all of us when we were young, she especially loved the ones of our mother. She was so happy, she said it was like a void had been filled in her life.I thank God we got to know her before she had to leave. She leaves her father, children,Jennifer Martin Coker,Justin Martin and James Bowling and two grandchildren all of TX.,brothers and sisters including the halves in MS.We will be going to TX for her service. We love you Ginny, and are so happy we got to know you, with all our love.
