Bitha A. Bryan Huggins, 1443 Bonham St. died Friday, 21 Aug 1987, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug 24, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Wilbur Simmons and the Rev. Joe Anderson officiating. Burieal will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Huggins was born 2 March 1902, in Jackson, MS, a daughter of John and Dora Aldridge Bryan. She married Byrum Huggins in Oct 1919, at Biardstown. He died 16 Jan 1949. She was a member of the Ramseur Baptist Church and its Faith Sunday School Class. Surviving are four sons, Sam Huggins, Pete Huggins, and Ray Huggins, all of Paris, and Earl (Shorty) Huggins of Brookston; one daughter, Dora Boren of Paris; one brother Jesse Bryan of Paris; one sister, Mamie Leonard of Roscoe; nine grandchildren, and 14 great Grandchildren. The family will be at Sam Huggins home, 615 Wilburn.
