Charles Dean Doss, 71, formerly of Monticello, Illinois died October 16, 2007 at his home in Acworth GA. Services were held October 19 at Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw GA. Burial was at Pine Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery in Kennesaw, Georgia.
He is the s/o Howard William Doss (1909-1960)and Mary Lucille (Dresback) Doss (1911-1937). Survivors include his wife, Sandy Loury Doss; two daughters: Sheri England and Terri Hendericks of Marietta GA; one sister, Jean McCraw of Chattanooga TN; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother and grandparents.
He graduated from Monticello High School in 1953 and attended Millikin University in Decatur. He served in the Air Force, stationed in Germany one year before being discharged. He was employed as an auditor and accountant before retirement at Russell Oil Company.
