He was a U.S. Army veteran, stationed in Germany from May 1964 through May 1966.

His interest in photography at an early age led to several photo credits in Hot Rod magazine and others.

In July 1980, he married Jill and they moved themselves and their four kids from Los Angeles to Flagstaff.

He was an avid tennis player and continued to play until the cancer made it too difficult.

In his last years, he enjoyed riding his Harley on many warm Phoenix days.

He is survived by Jill, his wife of 27 years; daughters Rachelle, Jennifer, Cayley and Raquelle. He was a wonderful grandfather to Marissa, Cameron, Aspyn and Dallon, who was born shortly after he passed away.
