Arria attended the Berkeley Street School, where she was special friends with Alice Longfellow, the daughter of the poet; Katie (or Katy) Howe, daughter of Uriah Tracy Howe, who marriedHenry Nathan Wheeler; and Harriet Maria (Hattie) Spelman, daughter of Israel Munson Spelmanm and later the wife of Ernest Wadsworth Longfellow. Arria married Archibald Murray Howe on June 4, 1881. The couple had no children. Arria's death was reported to the Cambridge Historical Society in 1839. She was buried on November 20, 1940.
