Effie Mae Alford was born May 14, 1902, at Freestone, Texas, and died at Elk View Hospital in Hobart Monday, September 27, 1971. She lived in Monrovia, California for about 25 years.
Among survivors are her mother Mrs. W.D. Baggett, Gotebo; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Maybelle) Hulett, Mrs. Doyle (Chlomajean) Hulett; one sister Mrs. Alfred Grigsby, all of Gotebo; one brother, Duke Baggett, Portland, Texas; two grandchildren, Mrs. Jim (Pat) McKenna and Larry Hulett, both of Gotebo; and three great grandchidren.
Pallbearers were: Bennie Weber, Grady Cockreham, Gerge Truitt, C.M. Medley, Ross Haxton and Joe Reynolds.
