Vern was born in Santa Clara, California on January 23, 1957. He departed from this world on January 21, 2014. Vern was a devoted life partner to Sherrie Phillips. Vern was preceded in death by his grandparents; Raymond and Marie (Clemons) Adair and Joe Kiefer. Vern's numerous cousins, many of who called him "Bones", all have wonderful memories of good times with Vern, but his Arkansas cousins recall the many visits to Arkansas which included picnicking/hiking on Mt. Magazine and swimming at Kirkwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vern's name to the Havana Assembly of God Youth Department of God Trooper's, P.O. Box 43, Havana, Arkansas.
