Alfred Strom, 71, of Troy, Idaho died at his home last evening. He was born in Madelia, Minn., to Peter Strom and Thora (Hellickson) Strom.
He had lived in Troy for 43 years. From 1919 to 1936 he was the Troy town marshall. He belonged to the Lutheran church and Modern Woodmen of the World.
Survivors include a son, Eldon of Troy; five daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Swanson of Troy; Mrs. Norma Wright and Mrs. Dorothy Jarvis of Spokane. Mrs. Doris Schackenberg of Pullman; and Mrs. Beverly House of Long Beach, Calif; two brothers and two sisters living in Minnesota.
