DAVIS -- Services for Foster Hayes Thomas, 80, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Frank Duncan and Dr. David Eggenberg officiating. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.

Thomas was born Feb. 22, 1921, at Davis, to Jesse D. and Dora C. Simms Thomas. He died March 15, 2001, in Ardmore.

He was a lifetime resident of Davis and manager of the Arbuckle Master Conservancy District. He and Margaret Hawkins were married June 6, 1940, in Davis.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Thelma Holder, Davis; a son, Jim, Moore; a sister, Nona Russell; and brother, J.D., also of Davis; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, John D, in 1994; a sister, Nina Smith; and a great-grandson.

Bearers will be Delford Fox, Guy Waters, Randy Moore, Ed Nelms, Norvis Thompson and Edgar Lee. Honorary bearers will be members of the Arbuckle Mastery Conservative District Board.
