Services for Ruth Ann Eid, 35, 1918 Ave. F, were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Amborn officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mrs. Eid died Friday evening, May 17, in an auto accident near Niota.

She was born Oct. 14, 1955, in Fort Madison. She was a trial court technician in the office of the Lee County Clerk of Court in Fort Madison and was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

On Feb. 12, 1982, she was married to David H. Eid, who survives.

Also surviving are her parents, Thomas and Betty Muntz Vonderhaar, Fort Madison; a son, Danny Hermes, at home; a daughter, Jill Hermes, at home; and four sisters, Barb Fuchs, Cedar Rapids, Mary Hoenig, Joan Northup and Elizabeth Hierstein, all of Fort Madison.

The body is at the King-Lynk Funeral Home where friends called, the family met friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday and where the rosary was also recited at 7 p.m. Monday.

A memorial was established for the children's education.
Contributions were made at the King-Lynk Funeral Home.
