Nelson Scott Rich, age 63 passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at his home on Crowe Dairy Road.
Left to cherish his memories are his spouse, Billy Dean Martin-Rich; one son, Nelson Scott Rich, II of Florida; one daughter; Tiffany Lynn Rich of Florida; one stepson, Michael Albert Hanifan; his father William Donald Rich (Patsy) of Forest City, NC; two brothers, John Mark Rich and Shawn Rich; grandsons, David Austin Rich, Benjamin Cole Rich, Donald Wayne Sturgeon, Tyler Lucas Ryan Sturgeon, and Kolton Scott Hanifan.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother Nona Faye Taylor Decker and one brother William Ron Rich.
A celebration of Scott's life will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel, 118 College Ave. Rutherfordton, NC 28139. The family will receive friends following the service.
