Charles Edwin Corl, age 51 of Maybee, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at his up north home in Rose City, MI.
Born December 22, 1970 in Ann Arbor, MI, he was the son of the late James and Susan (Woerst) Corl. After graduating from Dundee High School, Charlie began his lifelong career as a carpenter and mechanic. In October of 2013, Charlie married Kari Bridge in Dundee. They were married for over eight wonderful years before his passing.
In his free time, Charlie enjoyed snowmobiling, mud bogging in his truck, working on his Duramax, and hanging out with his best friend, Steve.
To cherish his memory, Charlie leaves his loving wife, Kari; children: Dustin Miller, Charla Corl, Sierra Corl, Jacob (Haley) Corl, Marina (Brian Durham) Vannest, Cassandra Corl, Gage Corl, Sydney Frederick, Brittany (Tad) Burkey, Nathan (Haley) Bailey, and Nicholas (Jasmine) Bailey; seven grandchildren; sister, Tina (Larry) Szyska; two nieces; and one nephew.
In addition to his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Corl.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Rupp Funeral Home from 12:00 to 8:00 pm. A service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 11:00 am. Rev. Larry Detruf will officiate. A burial will follow at Lambertville Cemetery.
