Mrs. Hardy was born May 5, 1924, in Hadley Township, Pike County, a daughter of George R. and Lula Hinch Eales. She married Earl V. Hardy Dec. 17, 1940, in Monticello, Mo. He survives. She was employed by Iowa Ordnance Plant in Burlington, Iowa, and Dryden Rubber Co. of Keokuk. She attended Park View Bible Church in Hamilton.
Surviving also are a son, Robert L. Hardy of Little Rock, Ark.; a daughter, Phyllis A. Ronat of Osceola, Mo.; two brothers, Lorne Eales of Barry and George Lorraine Eales of St. Louis, Mo.; seven sisters, Mrs. Jerome (Edna) Brownlee of Warsaw, Mrs. Benny (Alene) Likes of Barry, Mrs. Joe (Edith) Oitker of Barry, Mrs. Marion (Dorothy) Kaufmann of Girard, Mrs. Frank (Georgetta) Hutmacher of Springfield, Mrs. Hugh (Gloria) Goodwin and Mrs. Harold (Erma) Garner, both of Canton, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lamporte Funeral Home in Warsaw, the Rev. George R. Potts conducting. Burial will be in New Loraine Cemetery.
