She was born June 27, 1953, in Centreville, Miss., and died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at her home in Baker after a lengthy illness. She served as a dispatcher for a medical transport company and a business and home security company.

Visitation at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, Miss., on Thursday, Feb. 9, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home chapel on Friday from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Eddie Painter of Galilee Baptist Church, Gloster. Interment in Roseland Cemetery, Gloster.

She is survived by her fiancé, Quinard Samuel Lewis of Baker; two daughters, Kelly Allison and fiancé Lenny Walker, both of Baker, and Marsha Slaton and fiancé David J. Knapps, both of Port Hudson; son, Brian Joshua Slaton of Baker; five grandchildren, Jessica Mae, Amanda Catherine, Ann Kathalene, Michelle Reneé Allison and Hailey Marie Slaton, all of Baker; two brothers, John Wayne Ivy of Albany and Larry Clyde Ivy of Central; sister, Carolyn Ann McGraw of St. Francisville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Clyde Ivy and Eula Maxine Anders Ivy.

She was a member of Norwood Presbyterian Church.
