Beverly S. McCurry age, 57, of 1140 Rock Creek Road, Erwin, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Born in Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Wiley G. and Hazel Long Stout. Beverly worked at the Unicoi County Memorial Hospital for over 17 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Loss "Noonie" McCurry Jr.; two sisters, Ruth Hodges, Marie Taylor; four brothers, Paul J. Stout, Jack D. Stout, Richard L. Stout, and James R. Stout.
Beverly leaves behind: Three daughters, LeAnn Simmerman and her husband, David, Pleasant View, TN, Kristi Miller and her husband, Anthony, Erwin, Julie Richardson and husband, Gregg, Erwin; Two sisters, Shirley Puckett, Banner Elk, NC, Imogene Bright, Jonesborough; Four brothers, Barton E. Stout, Gray, Wiley G. Stout Jr., Jonesborough, Godfrey D. Stout, Jonesborough, Bennie K. Stout, Telford; Eight grandchildren, Alex, Olivia, Joshua and Lucas Simmerman, Megan and Caleb Miller, Macy and Leia Richardson.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 1, 2006, at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend David Simmerman, Reverend James Dunn and Reverend E.L. Wheeler will be officiating. Music will be provided by Queenie Wheeler.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. till service time. Graveside services will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. All those who are attending the graveside services are asked to meet at the funeral home by 9:30 Saturday morning.
The nephews will be pallbearers.
