Shirley J. Stine, age 73, of Faribault, MN, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at her home following an extended illness.
Shirley Joanne, the daughter of Maxwell and EvaDell (Vigen) Saunders, was born on January 23, 1945 in Richmond, CA. At a very young age she moved to Minnesota and would attend school in Fergus Falls, MN. Over the years Shirley worked at various businesses in the area including, Vogel's Dairy, Faribault Regional Center in the laundry department, Sheldahl, Mercury Minnesota and Rust Consulting. Shirley was known for her wonderful quilts that she made and enjoyed the time that she put into each of them. She also enjoyed her flower gardens, her pets that she raised, listening to all types of music, bowling and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Dennis Rindahl Jr., brother, Michael Saunders and daughter-in-law, Tara Kay Rindahl.∼Shirley J. Stine, age 73, of Faribault, MN, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at her home following an extended illness.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault, with the Rev. Mark Johnson, Pastor of First English Lutheran Church officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Shirley was known for her wonderful quilts that she made and enjoyed the time that she put into each of them. She is survived by her husband Chuck Stine of Faribault, MN; by six children, David (Tammy) Rindahl of Hager City, WI, Daniel (Melissa) Rindahl and Donovan (Caeleste) Rindahl both of Faribault, MN, Dion Rindahl of Albertville, MN, Dan Stine and Tami (Todd) Glende, both of Faribault, MN; by 16 grandchildren, DJ, Dalton, Jackie, Lauren, Brooke, Benjamin, David Jr., Christopher, Erika, Heather, Tyler, Kadin and Daniel Jr. Rindahl, Ellie Mae, Darla and Duncan Glende and by other relatives and friends.
