Elizabeth is my Great-Grandmother. She was a beautiful woman with long white hair that she would braid and wrap around her head. She married E. Emerson Davis on July 4,1895. They had one child Lotys Louis Davis Nichols. They left Ohio and moved to Oregon, where Emerson passed away. After her husband's death Great-Grandma and her daughter moved back to Ohio, where she went to school to become a practical nurse. They lived in the Cleveland area for a while until she returned home to East Palestine, Ohio to care for her ailing uncle. She continued to live there until her death. She was in a nursing home when her foot became infected from bed sores, and the doctor told her they would have to amputate her foot. She very adamantly said "I'm going to meet my maker in one piece." She passed on a couple of days later and did indeed meet her maker in one piece.
