With a heavy heart, it needs be made know that Gary W. Durrant, age 65, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. He was born in Oshkosh on September 26, 1956, to the late Russell and Viola (Huffstutler) Durrant. Gary was an excellent salesman for Audio Plus, and while I worked there he was one of my most loyal friends. After Audio Plus closed for good Gary moved on and worked for many years at Kossel's Appliance.
He was an avid fan of Nascar, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. He attended many races to see the action in person. He also followed the Packers as well as the Brewers.
Gary is survived by his brothers: James (Phyllis), John (Karen), Glen (Dottie) and numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends who knew him and those of us that worked with him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Viola Durrant, and sister, Ardie Felker.
