Served as a WAC in WWII; I have many pictures of her in the various places she stayed. My mother looks so much like her.
I will post her full obituary and family information once I have found them.
Married my grandfather, Amos Hancox, sometime after the war. They had one son and one daughter.
If I remember correctly, Nana died quite suddenly on Thanksgiving Day, 1989 of a heart attack. She was rushed to the hospital afterwards and was pronounced dead. She was only 65.
She never got to meet all of her grandchildren, or her great-grandsons.
She is survived by her son Michael, his wife Angie, their children Joseph, Adam, and Katie (born after Nana passed), a daughter Suzi, her daughter Kayleigh, Kayleigh's husband Colin, and two great-grandsons.
I have pictures of myself playing out in my grandparents' back yard.
I was only 3 when Nana passed.
