Mrs. Tillie Abent, 21 Jenkins Street, Duryea, died Thursday afternoon in Mercy Hospital, Scranton. A native of Poland, she was former Tillie Stahelek, and came to United States as a young girl and had been a resident of Duryea for 55 years. She was widow of Stanley Abent, who died in Sept. 1953. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church.
Remaining are three daughters, two sons, 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
