He was a good dog. Unfortunately, the good always seem to die young. Buford had been battling epilepsy for three years, and as time passed, his seizures became more frequent and severe. Yesterday morning, he suffered multiple grand mal convulsions and it became clear to us that we could not allow him to endure any more pain. This morning, he was put to sleep. He will always be remembered as a a gentle giant, a good friend, and a faithful companion.
