Anthony Adams, 60, of 904 Kentucky Ave., died suddenly Saturday afternoon at Dirks Cheese Factory in the town of Meeme, Manitowoc County, while he was making a stop there on his creamery route.
A native of Yerneavas, Yugoslavia, Mr. Adams was born Jan. 13, 1895, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Adams. In 1906 he came to the United States to make his home in Sheboygan with an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mosich. He attended parochial school here.
For 32 years Mr. Adams worked for the Verifine Dairy Co., serving as a cream buyer, and during the past three years he had operated his own cream-buying business.
He was married to Selma Wolff Sept. 12, 1953, at the Trinity Lutheran Church parsonage.
Survivors are his wife; two step-sons, George and Roger, both at home; a step-daughter, Sharon, at home; two sisters, Katherine Adams, of Yugoslavia, and Anna Adams of Frances; and four brothers, Frank, Leopold, Louis and John, all of Yugoslavia. His parents and two sisters preceded Mr. Adams in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. The Rev. G. William Genszler, pastor of United Lutheran Church, will conduct the services, and burial will be in the family lot in Greendale Cemetery. (Found them in the Lutheran Cemetery).
Friends may call at the funeral home from this afternoon until the time of services Tuesday.
