During my research I found the birth and marriage certificates of Francis Claude GENTILHOMME (in France the first name is Claude François).
He was born on May 5, 1787 in the small village of Mollans, in Haute-Saône (it is in the east of France, 70 km from the Swiss border). He married BARRET Anne Rosalie in Lure, Haute-Saône, on June 22, 1813. She was born in Lure on April 8, 1793
From this union he was born in Lure 9 children:
- A stillborn child, born on February 14, 1814
- Beard Pauline Zoe, born May 28, 1815
- Sophie Aurélie, born November 17, 1816
- Fanny, born May 9, 1818, died January 7, 1821
- Eliza, born November 7, 1919, died May 17, 1823
- Anne Charlotte Fanny, born August 9, 1821
- Edouard Alexis, born June 14, 1823
- Claude Marguerite Félicie born february 28, 1826
- Claude Joseph Theodore, born September 24, 1828
