Ronnie Lee Williams, 72 years, 6 months, 5 days old, passed away on June 30, 2022 at Cox Health Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.



Ronnie was born December 25, 1949 in Ava, Missouri to Robert and Mable (Brown) Williams.



He served in the United States Army from 1969-1971 during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. Ronnie later worked for the City of Ava for eighteen years.



Ronnie loved going to swap meets and old car and truck shows. He enjoyed operating his dozer, backhoe, and other heavy equipment. Ronnie also liked to help his son in the logging woods when his health allowed it.



Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Dorman, Harold, and Gilbert Williams.



Ronnie is survived by his companion for thirty- two years, Marilyn Shepherd; son and daughter in law, Tim and Donna Williams; two sisters and their spouses, Loretta and Glen Smith, Victoria and Dale Rippee; three grandchildren, Samantha Hess, Josh and Kori Williams and Brianna Williams; three great grandchildren, Valentine and Ophelia Hess, and Hudson Williams; and best friend Jim Burke.



Memorial Graveside services for Ronnie will be at Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Ava Cemetery with full military honors by the Troy Herd American Legion post #112 and United States Army. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc. Ava, Missouri.
