Loving father of Doris Cattie (David), Joseph (Christine Christopher), John (Lenore Pompilio), Debora Barnes (Peter J. Jr.), James (the late Mary Beth Soldo), Diane Oertel (Thomas), Jay, and Jack and the late Jeffrey. Also survived by his sister Mary Slick, 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Melchior and Kathrene (nee Czyrak); his brothers Frank and Louis; his granddaughter, Joanna; and his great-grandson, Noah.
